Your pension in your pocket
Our app makes it easy to keep an eye on your pension and plan for the future.
We’ve created these resources to help you trade smarter, manage risk, and explore new opportunities.
Once you’re logged in to your account, select Dealing from the right-hand navigation.
After selecting your investment and the number of shares or cash value you want to invest, select continue.
If the markets are open, you’ll get a live quote.
If you can't get a live quote, it might be due to one of these reasons:
If a live price is unavailable, you can keep trying for a live quote or place your order through our TradePlan service.
On the day of settlement, you can withdraw the money from a sale.
Most trades in the UK and Europe take two working days to settle, while US trades take one working day.
This period allows time for stock and cash delivery and other trade administration. Your trade confirmation will show the settlement date.
A delayed order lets you place an order when the market is closed, so it can be processed when the market reopens. Your order price isn’t guaranteed and will be executed at the best available price for that order size.
To protect your order price, you can set up a TradePlan. For example, you can set a limit order to trigger buying a stock trading at £1, only when the price reaches 98 pence. Find out more about our TradePlan service.
