What is financial advice?

Financial advice is a recommendation from a qualified financial adviser. You can get advice from an adviser at Lloyds Wealth.

Lloyds Wealth are part of the Lloyds Banking Group - just like us. Here’s how it works.

Review what you’ve got

You’ll get matched with a qualified financial adviser who’ll take the time to understand you, your needs, your goals, and your finances.

There’s no fee to have an initial consultation.

Get a plan for the future

Your adviser will create a personalised financial plan that aims to help you achieve your goals. They’ll discuss the options you have and the benefits each one could bring.

There’s no fee to get a financial plan.

Put your plan into action

Your adviser will work with you to put your plan in place and set up your investments in line with your goals. They can continue to support you as your circumstances change.

You’ll pay a fee for implementing your plan and for any ongoing advice you choose to receive.

How Lloyds Wealth can help you

Advice can help at every stage of life - from the start of your career, to having a family or getting ready for retirement.

Save and invest your money

Get a financial plan based around your goals, needs, and the amount of risk you’re comfortable with taking. Learn how much to save and invest, and get the right products and investments to help you achieve your goals.

Plan for retirement

Find out how much you need to retire, check whether you’re on track, get help investing a personal pension, and get a plan for retirement. Lloyds Wealth doesn’t give advice about investing your workplace pensions.

Protect your family

Review what protection your family has if you fall ill, can’t work, or die. Check your cover meets your needs, and get help to put in place the cover that’s right for you and your family.

Inheritance planning

Protect the wealth you’ve built and find the best way to share it with your family - including minimising the amount of inheritance tax they’ll pay. You can also get help with wills, estate administration, and power of attorney.

My husband hated his job, working 12 hour days/nights, our adviser has helped him retire and he’s a happier man to have at home. Thank you.

Annette

Don’t just take our word for it

The financial adviser who visited me was exceptional. He was unhurried, understood my investment needs, and explained my options clearly. The service I received was faultless.

Janis

Excellent all round service. Very understanding of my needs. Administered throughout in a highly professional unbiased way.

Bryan

Investing for longer increases the likelihood of positive returns. Over a period of 5 years or more, investments usually give you a higher return compared to cash savings. But investments can go down as well as up in value, so you could get back less than you put in. Tax treatment depends on individual circumstances and may be subject to change in the future.
