The workplace pension scheme offer

Working in collaboration with Independent Financial Advisers Lucas Fettes and pension provider Scottish Widows, NCVO have developed a new workplace pension scheme and broader workplace savings proposition with the specific needs of voluntary sector employers and your employees in mind.

All employers will, between now and 2018, have to automatically enrol all eligible employees in a qualifying pension scheme and make contributions to their plan. The qualifying scheme may be your own company scheme, if it meets certain criteria, or a low cost alternative by another provider, such as the Peoples Pension or the National Employment Savings Trust (NEST). The important point is that the Government has set a minimum contribution for these qualifying schemes.

Employee benefits – Helps employees identify their financial needs and manage all their finances in one place through a single secure portal. It enables employees to take control of their finances, helping them make decisions with confidence, and empowering them to set financial goals.

Scheme Administration – An experienced team of administrators will work closely with you to ensure smooth day to day running of arrangements.

Employee financial education and guidance – With public awareness of debt and other financial management issues on the increase, it is ever more important for employees to have a good understanding of their personal financial situation and clear objectives for the future. Access to Financial Advice from Lucas Fettes – Financial planners at Lucas Fettes will be able to provide personal and ongoing advice to both voluntary sector employers and their employees. There may be a charge for advice relating to individual pension transfers.
