Keeping track of the nation’s attitudes towards saving for retirement
The Scottish Widows Retirement Report turned 15 in 2019. Since 2005 we have been keeping track of the nation’s attitudes towards saving for retirement and their hopes and expectations for the future.
In this report we reflect on how people’s attitudes and circumstances have changed over the years and analyse how people feel now about saving for their long-term future.
In our 2019 Retirement Report we took a look back at the progress that’s been made in people saving for their retirement in the 15 years since the report started. In our new report we go further, to examine The Future of Retirement and the challenges which remain now and potentially in the years ahead.
The new report outlines a series of recommendations which could help people achieve the retirement they hope for.
