Scottish Widows strengthens distribution team with three senior appointments

Scottish Widows has made three senior hires to bolster its intermediary distribution capability and support its growth ambitions across the advised wealth market. 

Caroline Miller, who joins as Strategic Partnership Director from Aberdeen, brings more than 23 years’ sales experience and a well-established network across the financial services industry. She specialises in strategic partnerships and has a strong track record of identifying, nurturing and growing long-term, high value relationships. 

Alistair Stewart, Strategic Development Director, also joins from Aberdeen with an exceptional track record, including securing a mandate worth £1bn AUM during his tenure. He brings deep understanding of the advice sector, market consolidation and investment insight supported by his IMC qualification. 

Maria Kilpatrick, Intermediary Senior Development Manager, previously held the role of Regional Director at M&G overseeing Sales and Business Development Managers responsible for distributing the PruFund range. With more than 20 years’ experience managing successful sales teams, she has a strong background in driving performance and adviser engagement.
