The director: Sean de Sparengo
Sean de Sparengo studied Graphic Design at Kingston University, specialising in moving image and Photography, before joining the BBC presentation department at the height of their channel branding success.
Sean was quickly responsible for the creative / branding output of several of the BBC's Channels and designed, directed and produced numerous award-winning BBC trails, identities and title sequences.
Amongst his directing credits:
- Identities for BBC2, BBC ONE, BBC America's 'Cool Britannia'.
- Title sequences for Holby City, This Morning (ITV) and Living Dangerously.
Since leaving to be freelance, Sean has worked with on several feature films, directing second unit and special effects for:
BBC, ITV, Channel 4, FIVE, MTV, Hallmark, Sky, National Geographic and Flextech.
Sean recently again won the World
- Gold BDA/Promax award for best on-air branding for directing Channel
FIVE's Identities
and
was recently nominated for the Saatchi and Saatchi "Best New
Directors" showcase in Cannes.

Since joining Therapy
Films
in
2005, Sean has directed commercials and identities for Disney, Racing
Post and National Geographic as well as Scottish Widows. In addition
to that he continues to further his feature film ideas.
