Launch Event (2007)

Following the announcement of Lloyds TSB as the Official Banking and Insurance Partner of the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, Scottish Widows held a series of events on Thursday 12 July 2007 to showcase its involvement with the 2012 Games. The events were held at Scottish Widows’ Port Hamilton and Dalkeith Road offices, announcing that as part of the Lloyds Banking Group, Scottish Widows is proud to be the Official Pensions & Investment Provider of the London 2012 Olympic Games & Paralympic Games. Sarah Storey OBE and Roger Black MBE attended the event and introduced themselves as Scottish Widows Ambassadors for the London 2012 Games colleagues.
