Multi Manager Funds
Our range of funds investing in equities utilises the combined strength and experience in Multi-Manager investing of Scottish Widows Investment Partnership and Russell Investments. It allows a Multi-Manager approach to UK and international equity investment as a single strategy or as part of a diversified portfolio.
These funds diversify across multiple managers and different investment approaches to market capitalisation, sector and style. They allow investors to take a Multi-Manager approach to UK and international equity investment with the flexibility to adopt a high concentration of equities in their portfolio.
SWIP has overall responsibility for the performance and objectives of the funds.
SWIP then delegates to Russell:
- Fund manager research and selection
- Day-to-day management of the funds
SWIP and Russell meet quarterly to review the performance of the funds and the fund managers comprising the funds.
Russell Investment Group were the pioneer of the Multi-Manager approach. They are a world leader in the field and have been using multi-manager investment strategies since the 1960s.
