The Probate Trust is inheritance-tax (IHT) neutral and will be invaluable to those with an existing Global Investor offshore bond seeking to avoid the expense and delays that can be associated with obtaining IoM probate. The trust is written on an absolute basis for the settlor so there are no IHT implications on creation of the trust.
