Discretionary Trust for OEICs

The Discretionary Trust for OEICs has been designed specifically for use with the Scottish Widows OEIC.

By completing the trust form, your client is giving up all future access to the investment. Ultimately, this may help to reduce the potential inheritance tax due on your client's estate.

The trust is written on a discretionary basis for a wide class of beneficiaries. This means that despite having made an irrevocable gift, your client, as one of the trustees, is able to retain some control and flexibility in deciding who benefits from the trust fund and when.
