With Profits Funds - Harder Working Assets
We believe our with-profits funds give your clients more choice.
For Bonds started on or after 23rd March 2005 units in the With-Profits Growth Fund and With-Profits Income Fund will be Series 2 units.
With-Profits Growth Fund
This fund is designed for investors aiming for a combination of long-term growth potential and a measure of security from guarantees on death and on certain regular withdrawals.
With-Profits Income Fund
This fund is designed for investors who are looking for a relatively stable long-term income through regular withdrawals from their Bond. It aims to limit increases and reductions in capital value in the long term.
These choices allow you to tailor packages to suit you clients' needs. For example, some may be looking for a smoothed stream of income to help them out in retirement. Others may want capital growth potential.
Harder Working Asset Mix
Each fund has a focus on either income or growth with an appropriate asset mix.
Guarantees
We guarantee that any Fixed Withdrawals of up to 5% a year of the amount invested will not have Market Value Reductions (MVRs) applied if selected at the outset and if they start within 13 months of the start of the Bond. Each fund provides a measure of security with guarantees on death and on some regular withdrawals. We guarantee that any payout resulting from death will not have MVRs applied.
Natural Income Withdrawals
The With-Profits Income Fund is designed to pay regular bonuses as additional units. Your client can cash them in (after the 0.25% annual management charge unit cancellation) by taking Natural Income Withdrawals, and we aim to limit any changes to their capital in the long term.
