Apply Online
Before applying online, please ensure you have complied with these requirements:
- You must have supplied your clients with a copy of our declaration for the product they are applying for.
- You must have received your clients’ authority to give online authorisation to the clauses in our declaration.
How does the application process work?
Our online application is available for the Professional Mortgage.
When you complete the first stage of our online application you have the option to seek an agreement in principle before continuing further. This can be done online immediately (without a credit check) or by choosing “Refer to Lender”. The Refer to Lender option allows you to submit the case direct to Scottish Widows Bank where our Credit Team will carry out a credit search, individually assess the case and call you back within one hour (during normal working hours).
After completion of the Agreement in Principle, you have the option either to carry on with a full application or save the partially completed application. You can then return to complete it once the Agreement in Principle has been confirmed.
What information do I need before applying?
Please provide your client with a copy of the Initial Disclosure Document (IDD)
prior to completing the application details.
You should also provide your client with a Key Facts Illustration (KFI) for their chosen product before applying.
Before you begin to apply, please ensure that you have the following information from your clients.
You should not continue with this application if:
- Your clients are looking for a guarantor mortgage
- There are more than two parties to the mortgage
