Access your Civil Service AVC online
Once you're a member of the Civil Service AVC Scheme you will have access to a range of online services which allow you to:
- View your plan details
- View the retirement date for your plan
- View current and historic values of your AVC fund
- View your payment details
- Change your address / contact details
- Request copies of previous Annual Benefit Statements.
The range of Online Services (pdf) provides you with a quick and simple way to keep track of your pension plan. It is easy to use, and can be accessed as often as you like.
The What if? Calculator
This is an interactive tool, which allows you to input variables and calculate your possible retirement fund. Such variables include:
- Payment levels
- Retirement date
- Transfer value
- Illustration basis making allowance for inflation

Switching funds online
This gives you the chance to switch the funds you are invested in and redirect your future payments. All switch and redirection changes made are usually effective the next working day. Conditions and a charge for doing this may apply.
