Download an application form and apply by post

To open an account simply download and print out the application form, complete it and send it to us with the following:

  • A cheque (this must be in the same name of the account you will hold with Scottish Widows Bank) from your organisation’s main bank/building society account.

    Please note that if the initial payment is made by CHAPS (Bankers Clearing House) transfer, we will need to see a recent original bank statement from your organisation’s existing current account (this will be returned without delay).
  • The appropriate documentation as detailed below in order that we can pay interest gross (if appropriate):

    Company

    Certificate of Incorporation

    Pension Fund

    Letter from Inland Revenue confirming that funds are exempt from tax

    Association

    Latest Annual Accounts signed by auditors or Deed of Constitution

    Others

    Please contact our Customer Service staff

    Charity

    Original Headed Letter confirming the charity number


  • A completed and signed Direct Debit mandate if you would like us to collect payments by Direct Debit.
